It is the great Petrika Konomi, who on his official page made a dedicated post for Llazi Pula, the Master who has not been among us for two years.

Konomi himself, the honored Professor, writes:

Llazi's Cross

‘Can you do the cross?’ or ‘try doing the cross once’ are natural requests from beginner gymnasts and from many who have tried and failed, hoping to experience the satisfaction of performing this cross a gymnastic element synonymous with strength.

Llazi successfully met these challenges and managed to master the ring, this highly mobile and unstable apparatus that demands great effort to dominate with determination, strength, courage, and intelligence, showing one’s personality. This is so true that during the execution of this cross element, other strength elements and positions are added, even including salutes with the head to the left and right of the audience.

Llazi would smile!

During a competition, to make this smile even more effective, I raised my voice and gestured for the ‘katarosh’ (the cutting pain).

The great athlete Flora Toto Shqevi, who was directing this competition, captured this moment and reacted, ‘What did you find?’ The most beautiful smile: ‘It was genuine.’ Despite the katarosh enhancing the smile, it was Llazi himself.

An imposing personality.”
