Gambling in Drenovë / 3 individuals prosecuted. Inspections carried out in local establishments

Checks continue across the entire territory of Korçë County to identify and crack down on the illegal activity of gambling.

Three more cases of this illegal activity were uncovered as part of the police operation codenamed “Qarku.”

Three additional individuals have been criminally prosecuted in Korçë for this illegal activity.

Three mobile phones were seized.

Services of the Korçë Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against the following individuals:

V. P., J. T., and R. G., residents of Korçë and the village of Drenovë, Korçë, after sports betting websites were found on their mobile phones during inspections carried out at the premises where they were present.

As material evidence, three mobile phones were seized.

The procedural materials were referred to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for further actions.
