Since June 25, Skënderbeu has "revved up its engines," and it is hoped that, in addition to intensive preparations, the club will also conduct a quality transfer market, ensuring that the season’s objective is never in question. Regarding the current situation within the team during these training days, as well as the club's ambitions, coach Gjoka told the local media:

"As for the new season, 2025-2026, I will keep the core of last season’s squad, mainly with the players who were here from the first week. This is positive, and the situation now is completely different from last season."

Like all other clubs, Skënderbeu will be active in the transfer market, both in terms of arrivals and departures. The Korçë-based team remains open to selling players, of course, in exchange for satisfactory offers, as was the recent case of Ermir Rashica, who was transferred to Ukrainian side Metalist 1925 for around 800,000 euros.

Regarding reinforcements, it has been reported that Skënderbeu has reached agreements with Ghanaian striker Baba Hamdu Musa and midfielder Salim Abubakar.

Speaking about Skënderbeu’s transfer market, coach Ernest Gjoka clarified:

"We have decided to also promote some players from the academy, who have either just finished the season or finished in previous seasons, and at the same time, we are planning to bring in some foreign players. For now, none of them have joined the team yet, but they will come."

As for departures, the following players are currently considered as having left Skënderbeu: Zhoao Felipe, Liridon Balaj, Mamane Amadou Sabo, Elvis Prençi.
