Goodbye to the respected doctor, Drita Ballço!

The respected doctor Drita Ballço has passed away, one of the most respected figures of Korçë’s medical community and of obstetrics and gynecology services.

Born in Elbasan on November 23, 1951, Dr. Drita Ballço dedicated her entire life to the medical profession, serving with commitment, humanity, and love for her patients.

After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine in 1975, she worked in Elbasan, Cërrik, and later in Korçë, the city with which she built both her professional and family life.

For decades, at the women’s consultation clinic in Korçë, she became not only an outstanding professional but also a source of support and hope for generations of women and families.

Today, medicine has lost a dedicated doctor, and our city a noble and beloved woman.

Our deepest condolences go to the Ballço family, relatives, friends, and colleagues. Her memory and contribution will always remain unforgettable.
