A 29-year-old man has been arrested in Elbasan after causing a road accident while driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police reported that the individual, identified as M. S., was driving on the Peqin–Elbasan road when his vehicle collided with another car driven by F. P. The accident resulted only in material damage, with no reported injuries.
According to the official statement, traffic police specialists arrested the driver in flagrante delicto after confirming he was in a state of intoxication at the time of the incident.
The case materials have been referred for further legal proceedings.
