He stole a vehicle and, while attempting to flee, crashed into two parked cars, 35-year-old man arrested

Tirana police, as part of a series of operations to identify and apprehend perpetrators of vehicle and private property thefts in the capital, have arrested a 35-year-old man.

Following investigations and on-the-ground pursuit, D. M., 35, was apprehended. He is suspected of stealing a vehicle in the early hours of October 30, 2025, on “Bardhyl” Street. While attempting to flee at high speed, he collided with two other parked cars on “Mihal Duri” Street, causing material damage.

After the accident, the 35-year-old abandoned the stolen vehicle at the scene but was later identified and arrested by police.

Authorities report that investigations continue to determine whether the suspect was involved in other thefts in different areas of Tirana.
