He attempted to take 42,000 euros out of Albania without declaring them and is being prosecuted.

As part of the work of the Border Police services to prevent and combat border crimes, a check was carried out at the exit of Albania on the bag of citizen L.K., where 42,000 euros were found, which he had not declared in accordance with the law.

Following procedural actions in this case, specialists from the Crime Investigation Department of DVKM Gjirokastër referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating proceedings in a free state for the criminal offense of “Failure to declare cash and valuables at the border” against L.K., 44 years old, resident of Fier.

The sum of euros was also seized as material evidence.
