He was linked with Skënderbeu, Uerdi Mara signs with his new team

Midfielder Uerdi Mara has returned to Dinamo Batumi in Georgia, just 25 days after leaving the club.

The 26-year-old, who had been declared a free agent at the beginning of January, has signed a new contract that will keep him with the Georgian champions for the next two years.

Mara initially joined Dinamo Batumi in February 2024 on loan, before the club purchased his contract from Turkish side Keciörengücü in March 2025 for a fee of €30,000. During last season, he was a key figure in the lineup, scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists.

Despite interest from several clubs in Albania’s Superiore Category, including his former team Skënderbeu, the midfielder chose to continue his career abroad in an environment he knows well.
