Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit at the Pogradec Police Station have referred materials to the Prosecutor's Office, initiating criminal proceedings in two separate domestic violence cases.
– V.O., 56 years old, is under investigation for allegedly physically assaulting her mother-in-law.
– D.D., 43 years old, is also facing criminal charges after allegedly assaulting his sister.
Both incidents highlight ongoing concerns regarding domestic violence. Authorities urge citizens to report such cases and remind the public that acts of violence within the family will be treated with full legal seriousness.
