Hit by a car and flees on foot, driver abandons the “Benz”

A traffic accident was reported on the Trans-Balkan Road in Vlorë, where a vehicle hit a woman.

As a result of the collision, the victim sustained injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital to receive necessary medical care. Details about her current health condition are not yet known.

According to preliminary information, the driver of the vehicle, a “Benz” with German license plates, fled the scene immediately after the accident, abandoning the car and running away on foot.

Police have launched an investigation to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident and to identify and apprehend the driver who fled the scene.
