“I work at SPAK,” but it was a lie — unlicensed builder arrested

Tirana police have arrested a citizen who attempted to deceive IMT inspectors by presenting himself as the driver of the chancellor of the Special Prosecution (SPAK).

The individual, identified by the initials R. I., had constructed an unauthorized building in a Tirana area. During an inspection by the Territorial Protection Inspectorate, he threatened the inspectors and claimed to be an employee of the Special Prosecution, specifically the driver of the SPAK chancellor.

After verification by authorities, it was confirmed that R. I. had no connection to the institution and his statements were false.

The illegal building was documented, and the case was referred for further investigation by law enforcement. R. I. now faces charges for illegal construction and making false statements.
