Information for the public regarding the ticket sales process for Albania – Serbia

AFF is committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and equal process for all fans who wish to attend the Albania–Serbia match on June 7 at the “Air Albania” Stadium.

Ticket application phaseThe ticket application phase opened on May 15 and remained open for 15 days, until May 30 at 20:00, for all Albanians, both inside and outside the country.Each applicant was allowed to apply to purchase up to 4 tickets.

Selection process – electronic lotteryFrom May 31 to June 2, an electronic lottery is being held to randomly select applicants who will be granted the right to purchase a ticket.Each selected individual will receive an official email with a personal link to proceed with the ticket purchase.

High number of applicationsOver 200,000 applications have been registered so far, demonstrating the extraordinary public interest in this match.

Security filters and verification measuresTo ensure fairness, several verification filters will be applied to eliminate:

• duplicate or suspicious applications

• accounts created specifically for speculation or abuse

• and to ensure that each individual has only one fair opportunity

  
  

Security and personal identificationEach ticket will be personalized with name and surname. At the stadium entrance, the State Police will verify IDs to ensure they match the ticket information.This system helps guarantee safety and prevents misuse.

Fighting speculation and the black marketThis procedure has helped minimize or even eliminate two harmful phenomena:

• international platforms that purchase tickets in bulk and resell them at inflated prices

• and so-called "ticket scalpers" who operate illegally with cash transactions

A model similar to UEFAThis process follows the same model used by UEFA in situations of extremely high demand — such as Champions League, Europa League, Conference League finals, or the European Championship — where a random electronic lottery is also applied to select fans.
