Korçë: 34-year-old Petrika Treska arrested for drug dealing in neighborhoods and various bars

Korçë police successfully carried out a major operation against the distribution of narcotics in the city, arresting a 34-year-old man identified as Petrika Treska. The arrest followed a surprise check of his vehicle, where he was suspected of transporting drugs.


The search was extended to his residence, where suspected narcotics specifically cocaine and cannabis were found, already divided into doses ready for sale.


According to the police statement, the operation was conducted by the Special Forces “Eagles,” who had received prior information about P.T.’s activities.


During the vehicle search, police services discovered a quantity of narcotics, which was immediately seized. This was followed by another discovery at his home, where cocaine and cannabis were found.


Petrika Treska was arrested in flagrante and is charged with the criminal offense of “Production and sale of narcotics.” Police are working in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office to identify and arrest other individuals who may be involved in this criminal activity, thereby demonstrating their commitment to fighting organized crime and preventing drug distribution in the city.


The procedural materials related to the case have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.


This operation comes as part of the Police’s ongoing efforts to address security issues and protect citizens from the negative effects of drugs, which remain a serious social concern.
