Korçë police arrest two women for physical violence between sisters-in-law, one of them is issued a protection order

Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit at the Korçë Police Station arrested in flagrante M. R., 58, a resident of Korçë, for her involvement in a case of domestic violence. Additionally, the case materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, and legal proceedings began against K. R., 43, also a resident of Korçë.

According to the official statement, the two women, who are sisters-in-law, physically assaulted each other. As part of the legal procedures, K. R. was issued a protection order.

The procedural materials have been submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for the criminal offense of “Domestic Violence.”
