Korçë Police crack down on illegal cases: From drunk driving to carelessly sold medications

The Korçë Local Police Directorate reports that specialists from the Road Traffic Sector arrested citizen P. Z., 30, resident of Korçë, in flagrante delicto for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Additionally, the services of the Korçë Police Commissariat have referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office and initiated criminal proceedings for:

L. D., 33, and S. P., 40, residents of Korçë, who created noise disturbances in the premises of the establishments they manage, disturbing local residents;

A. D., 67, suspected of stealing a sum of money from a 55-year-old woman, with reports indicating mental health issues;

M. P., 65, resident of Korçë, suspected of carelessly selling some medications to a 44-year-old woman;

K. K., 50, and E. L., 51, residents of Korçë, after a computer used for sports betting was found in a bar they owned.

Furthermore, specialists from the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Unit have referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office regarding V. H., 25, resident of Korçë, after four car tires without accompanying invoices were found in the vehicle he was driving.

All procedural materials have been sent to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
