Korçë Police prosecute several individuals for various criminal offenses

The Korçë Local Police Directorate has referred several cases to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against multiple individuals for various offenses.

Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of the Korçë Police Station referred the case of O. B., 45, resident of Kuç i Zi village, Korçë, who is suspected of exercising physical and psychological violence against his wife. The victim has been issued a protection order.

Additionally, L. R., 66, resident of Korçë, has been criminally prosecuted for committing indecent acts and threatening a 31-year-old woman with a knife in her shop.

Meanwhile, the Pogradec Police Station referred the case of D. Xh., 30, resident of Vërdovë village, Pogradec, who was caught on the “Pogradec–Korçë” road near Gështenjas village transporting timber in a pickup truck without the proper documentation. The timber and vehicle were seized as material evidence.

Also, A. Gj., 25, resident of Pogradec, was criminally prosecuted after reportedly engaging in a physical altercation with R. M. in his establishment in Neighborhood No. 5.

At the same time, the Kolonjë Police Station referred the case of A. G., 63, resident of Tirana, suspected of “Property Damage” and “Unlawful Interference with Private Life.” According to police, he cut several oak trees on shared property and installed security cameras, violating the privacy of other residents.

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
