Korçë, two accidents in one day / A 40-year-old man driving under the influence and a 74-year-old woman injured

Following the information provided yesterday about the accident on the “Korçë–Ersekë” road, the police have released new details regarding the incident.

According to the official statement, 40-year-old K. Ç., who was injured after the vehicle he was driving went off the road, has been prosecuted in a non-custodial manner, as it was found that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Korçë District Court for further action.

Additionally, the police reported that materials related to another case have also been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office. In this incident, 74-year-old Dh. K. reported being slightly injured by a vehicle in neighborhood no. 18 of the city. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances and legal responsibilities.
