Services from the Maliq Police Station arrested in flagrante R. A., 30, a resident of Rëmbec village, for allegedly stealing a significant quantity of grapes from the warehouse of a 74-year-old man during the night. The stolen goods were seized as material evidence.

Specialists from the Road Traffic Sector arrested in flagrante the following individuals:

R. M., 30, resident of Korçë, caught driving under the influence and failing to stop when signaled by a police officer, but was apprehended during a pursuit;

A. Xh., 39, resident of Velitër village, who, while driving under the influence on the Korçë-Maliq road, was involved in a traffic accident causing material damage to another vehicle. Also, preliminary proceedings were initiated in a released state for T. G., 31, and B. Ç., 56, residents of Maliq, for providing false statements to judicial police officers regarding who was driving the other vehicle involved in the accident.

Additionally, materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against J. O., 35, resident of Korçë, after the vehicle she was driving under the influence collided with another parked vehicle.

Services from the Korçë Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings in a released state for:

R. I., 27, resident of Korçë, suspected of assaulting a 39-year-old woman with fists for minor motives;

D. R., 34, resident of Korçë, suspected of physically abusing his sister, who obtained a protective order;

A. P., 45, and E. D., 48, residents of Korçë, whose phones were found during a check at a local venue in neighborhood no. 9 to contain sports pages used for placing sports bets. The phones were seized as material evidence.

All procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
