The pharmacist was found with medicines lacking fiscal stamps, leading to criminal proceedings against the 34-year-old from Korçë.
Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Unit have initiated criminal proceedings against M. X., 34, resident of Korçë.
Police clarified that this citizen will face prosecution after, during an inspection at the business she managed, several packages of medicines without fiscal stamps were found and seized, suspected of being smuggled.
Police statement:
Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Sector referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen M. X., 34, resident of Korçë, after several packages of medicines without fiscal stamps, suspected of being smuggled, were found and seized during the inspection of the business she managed.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
