PKK Kapshticë / Intensive checks by Border Police services to prevent illegal movements across the border.

A 36-year-old man, wanted with a court-ordered detention, was apprehended and arrested.

The Korçë Local Directorate of Border and Migration has intensified inspections at crossing points and along the green border to prevent and combat cross-border crimes and to apprehend wanted individuals.

During in-depth checks and interviews at PKK Kapshticë, at the entry into Albania, P. N., 36, resident of Elbasan, was stopped.

The Durrës Court had issued a detention order for him for the criminal offenses of “False Testimony” and “Introduction of Prohibited Items into a Penal Institution,” as he was attempting to cross the border illegally.

Further procedural actions were carried out by the Elbasan Police Directorate.
