Specialists from the Korça Police Department’s Narcotics Investigation Unit have arrested E.B., 38, a resident of Korça. The General Jurisdiction Court of Appeal in Tirana had previously sentenced him to 1 year and 10 months in prison for the criminal offense of “Production and sale of narcotics.”

Specialists from the Maliq Police Station’s Crime Investigation Unit referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against M.R., 21, a resident of Korça, suspected of psychological abuse against his cohabiting partner, who has been granted a protection order.

Specialists from the Korça Police Station’s Crime Investigation Unit referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against E.Z., 41, a resident of Goskovë, Korça, suspected of attempting to steal from the cash register of a religious establishment in the village on February 15, 2026.

Specialists from the Devoll Police Station’s Crime Investigation Unit referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against B.M., 36, a resident of Koshnicë, Devoll, and K.B., 62, a resident of Poloskë, Devoll, for the criminal offense of “Illegal logging.” They were caught on the “Miras-Bilisht” road transporting firewood in their vehicles without the proper documentation. The amount of wood and the two vehicles were seized as material evidence.

All procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korça for further action.
