Specialists of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Korçë Police Station:

arrested in flagrante delicto citizen Xh. M., 45, resident of Korçë, suspected of having used violence against his wife, who was issued a protection order;

referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen A. D., 61, resident of Korçë, suspected of taking justice into his own hands by throwing stones and breaking the windows of his cousin’s house, citizen P. D., who was also issued a protection order;

referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against a 16-year-old resident of Korçë, after it is suspected that, for trivial reasons, he physically clashed with a peer in neighborhood no. 7 in Korçë.

Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen B. D., 39, resident of Korçë and administrator of a timber trading business, after citizen Th. M. was caught transporting a quantity of firewood by vehicle on “Rilindasit” Boulevard in Korçë, on behalf of this business, without proper documentation. Checks showed that Th. M. was not registered with the competent authorities as an employee of the company. The firewood and the vehicle were seized as material evidence.

Specialists of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pogradec Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen S. S., 65, resident of Pogradec, after he was found carrying out construction work without a permit.

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
