Korçë/Continuing checks as part of the police operation codenamed "Rule of Law" to capture wanted individuals.
As a result of cooperation between the structures of the Korçë Police Directorate and the Tirana Police Directorate, a 39-year-old man accused of the criminal offense "Coercion through threats or violence for extortion" was captured and arrested in Tirana.
In implementation of the action plan drafted as part of the nationwide mega-operation "Rule of Law" to capture wanted individuals, the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector of the Korçë Police Directorate, thanks to cooperation and information exchange with the Tirana Police Directorate regarding the whereabouts of a wanted person, captured and arrested the individual:
K. A., 39 years old, resident of Korçë.
The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korçë has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for this individual for the criminal offense of "Coercion through threats or violence for extortion," as it is suspected that through social media communications, he threatened the life of a 37-year-old citizen if he did not give him a sum of money.
Work continues to fully document this case.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korçë.
