Skënderbeu continues with afternoon training sessions, marking two full weeks since the start of their summer preparations, which are being held in the southeastern city until the new season kicks off.

Today marked the second day of striker Baba Musa’s arrival— the Ghanaian who has signed a three-year deal with Skënderbeu. In the coming days, midfielder Salim Abubakar from Nigeria, who has also finalized his move to the southeastern side, is expected to arrive. In addition to them, 3–4 other signings are expected—foreign players who are seen as important reinforcements for the team’s ambitions in the First Division.

The incoming transfer window is still in its early stages, and more signings are expected in the days ahead, with players of quality who are set to sign long-term contracts as part of Skënderbeu’s major project.

In parallel, Skënderbeu is also active in outgoing transfers. Just yesterday, the club officially confirmed the sale of Ardit Nikaj, and more departures may follow—depending on whether lucrative offers arrive for key names currently on the club’s roster. Marko Alia and Bsmakr are in the spotlight, but it remains to be seen whether moves will materialize, as Skënderbeu is unlikely to release them without significant transfer fees.

It is expected that Skënderbeu will finalize its squad in about two weeks—by the end of July—when the full group will be known. In the meantime, training sessions have been held at a high pace and intensity.

In short, the club is fully focused on both the incoming and outgoing transfer markets, while friendly matches are expected to begin soon. These will help head coach Ernest Gjoka and his technical staff assess where further reinforcements may be needed.
