Love amid the storm in Banff!

A brave couple decided to say “I do” at Peyto Lake, in the middle of snow and strong winds, creating an unbelievable winter scene.

Thanks to photographers Marcin and Dorota Karpowicz, their moments were turned into pure art.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, wind speeds in Banff National Park that day ranged from 11 to 24 km/h at lower elevations. At the couple’s ceremony site, 2,000 meters above sea level, conditions were much harsher.

Temperatures fluctuated between -1 and 8°C, and Banff recorded around 3 centimeters of snowfall.
