Mayor Filo at the Technical School ceremony for the presentation of the project by the European Union and UNDP

Mayor Sotiraq Filo stated:

“I had the pleasure to participate in the ceremony held at the Professional Technical School in Korçë, where the winning projects supported by the European Union and UNDP in Albania were presented.

Korçë Municipality is one of 19 municipalities benefiting from a grant scheme worth 1.2 million euros, aiming to promote inclusive employment and skills development for vulnerable groups, including young people who are not in employment, education, or training, new mothers, Roma and Egyptian communities, persons with disabilities, and recipients of social assistance.

Thanks to the EU Ambassador to Albania, Mr. Silvio Gonzato, and Ms. Randi Davis from UNDP for their support and cooperation. Our joint commitment to a fairer and more inclusive society is an important step forward for our city.”
