Minor stabbed, elderly couple (NAMES) arrested

An incident occurred in Sarandë, where an elderly couple allegedly stabbed a minor.

According to the police, Lavdërim Brahimi, 79, and Pranvera Brahimi, 73, are suspected of injuring a minor in the hand with a sharp object (knife) for minor motives, and they did not comply with police orders to be taken in for questioning.

In connection with this incident, the police have also taken legal action against Erjon Brahimi, 39, the couple’s son, who is suspected of also threatening the minor with a sharp object.

Besides the attack on the minor, the couple resisted police officers and did not obey orders to be escorted to the station.

“The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Sarandë Police Station arrested in flagrante L. B., 79, and P. B., 73, a married couple residing in Sarandë, suspected of injuring a minor in the hand with a sharp object (knife) for minor motives, and of not complying with police orders for escorting.

In this case, E. B., 39 (the couple’s son) has also been legally processed, as he is suspected of threatening the minor with a sharp object,” the police statement reads.
