Modified firearms and silencers seized in police operation

Police have seized a large quantity of firearms, weapon parts, and ammunition from a house in the "Kastriot" neighborhood, which was being used as a base for selling weapons to criminal groups. During the search, authorities confiscated 13 firearms, including 3 modified for optical sights and silencers, 2 silencers, dozens of magazines, and a significant amount of ammunition.

In handcuffs ended Milasim Ramaj, 38 years old, a resident of Fier, who was caught in the “Kastriot” neighborhood while traveling by car. In his vehicle, police found an unlicensed pistol and a sum of 3,500 euros. Further investigations revealed that the residence used by Ramaj was the location where the arsenal was stored and the weapons were being prepared for sale.

Fier Police continue investigations in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office to uncover others involved in this criminal activity.
