Muzhaqi in Korçë: Youth Center inaugurated, a new space for ideas, projects, and youth collaboration

The Minister of State for Youth and Children, Bora Muzhaqi, participated today in the inauguration of the Korçë Youth Center, a new investment that adds to the network of 21 youth centers established across Albania over the past four years.

In her speech, Minister Muzhaqi emphasized the importance of this investment not only as infrastructure but as a space where young people over 15 years old can carry out activities, meet, create new projects, and spend their time productively.

She highlighted that the Albanian government is shifting support from organizations and municipalities directly to young people, placing them at the center of public policies:

“If you are four young people with an idea for an activity, training, or community project, you will be able to apply very easily and receive financial support of up to 10,000 euros to bring it to life.”

The Minister also welcomed the collaboration with the Korçë Municipality and the Local Youth Council, noting that the request for a youth center in the city originally came from the young people of Korçë themselves, who will now be its main beneficiaries.

“I am convinced that from this center, new ideas and concrete projects will emerge that will enrich the youth and community life of Korçë,” Muzhaqi said.

The Korçë Youth Center represents an important step within the government’s policies for empowering youth, offering them not only modern spaces but also concrete tools to realize their ideas and vision for the community.
