Lin, the small village on the shores of Lake Ohrid, 22 km from the city of Pogradec, with its rare beauty and stunning landscape, welcomes thousands of tourists in every season.

Prime Minister Edi Rama today shared on social media images of Lin, Pogradec. “Natural landscapes and extraordinary history,” Rama said.

With its small houses built right by the water, nestled on the back of a not-so-high hill, with narrow stone-paved alleys where cars can hardly pass, Lin sparks the interest of both local and foreign visitors.

The Paleochristian Basilica of Lin, a 6th-century monument, represents one of the most important works of Albania’s cultural heritage.

The Lin Mosaic, now restored, is a precious cultural legacy and is considered the most unique among all other mosaics with religious features.

Lin also offers several pleasant beaches with crystal-clear water, sand, and small pebbles.
