New details have emerged from investigations into the van loaded with an arsenal of weapons, found a few days ago in Tirana.

According to investigative sources, the arrested man, Eugert Sino, has direct ties to a person wanted by SPAK, accused of murder and money laundering from drug trafficking, as part of a structured criminal group.

Investigators suspect that Eugert Sino is part of Aurel Hoxha’s group, against whom SPAK has carried out a series of recent operations. It is recalled that Hoxha had assets worth around 5 million euros seized, including the “Monopol” bar located on Myslym Shyri Street in Tirana.

Sources confirm that 34-year-old Sino is officially employed as a cashier at Hoxha’s businesses, raising suspicions that he was used as a collaborator within the criminal network.

Investigations reveal that Aurel Hoxha, now one of Albania’s most wanted individuals, is accused by SPAK of ordering the killing of Klevis Lleshi, one of five victims from the Lleshi clan. This incident is part of a chain of revenge killings that began in 2012, after the murder in England of Aurel Hoxha’s brother.

Meanwhile, police and SPAK continue investigations to uncover the origin of the seized weapons and the possible links of the van to Hoxha’s criminal network.
