The Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, announced today that for the first time this year, teachers will have their lesson plans available on the EMIS platform.
Minister Manastirliu described this step as another opportunity to utilize digital tools, which is expected to make teaching easier for teachers and provide greater assurance in monitoring the quality of education in schools.
She also noted that through the EMIS system, over 16,000 informative letters have been sent to parents this year regarding students’ aptitudes and achievements, as part of a comprehensive career guidance process.
Minister Manastirliu stated, “Identifying students’ interests and talents begins with group meetings, visits to institutions, visits to businesses, and interactions with professionals who come to schools and share their experience.”
This year, at the end of the school year, more than 16,000 letters were sent to parents via the EMIS system by coordinating teachers responsible for career guidance, who informed parents about students’ aptitudes, displayed talents, and achievements.
“If we want a generation prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century, we need career guidance coordinator teachers to play an even stronger role in this educational mission,” she added.
