Operation “The Hill 2” / Two people arrested for distributing dr*gs

The police operation codenamed “The Hill 2” has been completed in Durrës, targeting a case involving the distribution of narcotic substances in various parts of the city and on beaches.

As a result of the operation, carried out by the Narcotics Investigation Section in cooperation with the Special Force “Shqiponja,” two individuals were caught in flagrante delicto and arrested: D.R., 33, and K.Xh., 27, both residents of Durrës.

According to police, the two suspects are believed to have worked together in distributing Cocaine and cannabis sativa in small doses.

They were apprehended in the village of Rrashbull. During personal searches and searches of their homes, police seized more than 100 doses of suspected cocaine and cannabis sativa prepared for sale, an amount of cash suspected to be proceeds from criminal activity, two weapons (a baseball bat and a knife), as well as three mobile phones.

Police stated that the procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Durrës for the criminal offenses of “Production and sale of narcotics,” committed in collaboration, and “Production, possession, purchase, or sale of cold weapons without a permit.”
