POLICE / Incidents in Korçë, Bitinckë, Pogradec, and Maliq. Here is the police statement!

Specialists from the Road Traffic Sector arrested in flagrante citizen A. T., 46, resident of Pogradec, after being caught driving under the influence.

Additionally, they referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, which opened criminal proceedings for citizen P. A., 49, resident of the village of Bitinckë, who, while driving, lightly injured pedestrian J. H., 61.

Following the information provided on November 19, 2025, regarding the threatening of a 38-year-old woman via cellphone messages, the Korçë Police Station captured citizen K. H., 25, wanted in connection with this case. The materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, which opened proceedings in a free state for K. H. and for S. M., 22, who was traveling in the vehicle with him.

At the Maliq Police Station, citizen N. B., 58, resident of Maliq, reported that household items and work tools were stolen from his former residence. Efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s).

Procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
