POLICE / One person arrested. Accident in Neighborhood 17 in Korçë. Incident also reported in Maliq. Here’s the official statement!

Specialists from the Road Traffic Sector arrested in flagrante citizen E. A., 33, resident of Desmirë village, for driving a vehicle while intoxicated.

Additionally, materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office after an individual driving a Toyota in Neighborhood No. 17, Korçë, lightly injured a pedestrian and fled the scene. Authorities are working to identify and apprehend the driver.

The Maliq Police Station also referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office regarding an accidental incident in which citizen I. L., 38, an employee of a cleaning company, accidentally fell from the bed of a work vehicle and suffered minor injuries.

Regarding the report made on October 26, 2025, about the breaking of the door glass at the residence of citizen Gj. Th., 64, specialists from the Korçë Police Crime Investigation Unit have identified and apprehended the suspected perpetrators, citizens V. L., 40, and V. R., 51, residents of Korçë. Proceedings were initiated against them in a non-custodial capacity for the criminal offense of “Property Damage.”

Procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
