Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of the Pogradec Police Station submitted materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against E. H., 32, resident of Hudënisht, Pogradec, after an electronic scale with traces of suspected cocaine was found during an inspection of his business.

Additionally, during the inspection of his two mobile phones, active sports betting accounts were found. Verifications showed that the 32-year-old was conducting this activity in the business without registering with the tax authorities. The electronic scale and the two mobile phones were seized as material evidence.

Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of the Kolonjë Police Station submitted materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against R. Xh., 57, resident of Ersekë, Kolonjë, suspected of stealing a sum of money from N. J.’s residence.

Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of the Maliq Police Station submitted materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against:

E. K., 35, resident of Korçë, following a complaint by N. Ç., who claimed that a week earlier the 35-year-old had stolen a sum of money from his residence in Kolanec, Maliq

A. O., 50, resident of Sovjan, Maliq, suspected of psychological abuse against his spouse

On January 19, 2026, at the Pogradec Police Station, L. H., 44, resident of Pogradec, filed a complaint stating that he had a physical conflict on the street with three unknown individuals. Work is ongoing to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
