POLICE/ 2 arrests in Kapshticë. Here’s what happened!

Two individuals wanted by law were apprehended at the border, and one person attempting to cross with a forged passport was prosecuted.

In ongoing efforts to prevent cross-border crimes and apprehend individuals wanted by the authorities or attempting illegal border crossings, the Korçë Border and Migration Directorate reported the following incidents:

1. At the entrance to the Republic of Albania, F. A., 32, from North Macedonia, was apprehended. He is wanted internationally by Interpol Wiesbaden/Germany for the crime of “Fraud.” Interpol Tirana will carry out extradition procedures to Germany.

2. Also at the entrance to Albania, E. K., 21, from the village of Selenicë e Pishës, was apprehended. The Korçë Court sentenced him to 4 months in prison for the crime of “Production, possession, purchase, or sale of cold weapons.”

Additionally, I. A., 55, from the village of Plasë, was referred to the prosecution after a passport with a suspected forged stamp was detected at the Kapshticë border crossing point on exit.

Procedural materials were submitted to the Korçë Prosecution Office for further actions.
