POLICE/ 3 arrested in Devoll. They forcibly threatened and assaulted a 32-year-old

Three individuals have been arrested after forcibly taking a 32-year-old from his home for minor reasons, threatening his life, and physically assaulting him.

The Devoll Police Station acted following a complaint filed on October 30, 2025, by 32-year-old I. T., who reported that on October 27, 2025, three individuals—M. B., T. Ç., and A. N. in coordination with each other, forcibly took him and held him for several hours in a private business, where they threatened and physically assaulted him.

In response, the specialists from the Crime Investigation Section at the Devoll Police Station arrested:

A. N., 42, resident of Bilisht, and T. Ç., 38, resident of the village of Braçanj, for the criminal offenses of “Unlawful deprivation of liberty” and “Threats,” committed in cooperation;

M. B., 37, resident of Devoll, for the criminal offenses of “Unlawful deprivation of liberty,” “Intentional minor bodily harm,” and “Threats,” committed in cooperation.

Investigations indicate that these individuals forcibly took I. T., 32, resident of Braçaj village, Devoll Municipality, who was under the security measure “House Arrest” for the offense of “Violation of traffic rules,” and brought him to a private business, where he was mistreated.

Under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office, work continues to fully document the incident and clarify the motive.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
