The Korça Regional Police Announcement on Public Order and Security Incidents in the Last 24 Hours:
The specialists of the Road Traffic Sector arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen E. M., 40 years old, resident of Bilisht, after being caught driving a vehicle while intoxicated.
The Narcotics Investigation Specialists referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against the citizen K. D., 29 years old, resident of Pogradec, after a physical search revealed and seized a quantity of suspected narcotic substance, cannabis sativa.
The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Maliq Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against the citizen Sh. M., 42 years old, resident of Selca village, Maliq, after it is suspected that he hit a 65-year-old man with a hard object for trivial reasons.
The citizen B. Z., 61 years old, reported to the Korça Police Station that during the time he was not at home in his residence in the village of Gjergjevicë, some household items and work tools were stolen. Efforts are underway to identify and arrest the perpetrator(s).
The citizen D. L., 56 years old, resident of Pilur village, Devoll, reported to the Devoll Police Station that since September 2024, her brother, citizen A. L., 51 years old, who suffers from mental health problems, has been missing. Efforts are underway to locate him.
