POLICE/ In Bilisht, a knife was found in a car, criminal proceedings initiated. A missing 15-year-old girl located in Korça. Incidents also reported in Pirg and Pogradec

Officers from the Pogradec Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against the following citizens:

A. F., 52 years old, resident of Pogradec, suspected of striking a 60-year-old man with a hard object for trivial reasons.

K. T., 46 years old, resident of the village of Pirg, caught transporting a quantity of cut timber in violation of the law. The timber was seized as material evidence.

Officers from the Devoll Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against K. K., 32 years old, resident of Bilisht, after a search of his vehicle revealed a cutting tool (knife), which was seized.

Regarding the report yesterday of a missing 15-year-old girl, authorities inform that she came forward yesterday at the Korça Police Station and stated that she had left her home voluntarily.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korça for further action.
