POLICE/ Arrest made in Korçë. Incidents reported in Bilisht and Pogradec. Here’s the official statement from the authorities!

Specialists from the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Unit have referred case files to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against:

H. K., 27, resident of Bilisht, suspected of embezzling a sum of money through fraud against several individuals;

L. Xh., 48, resident of Librazhd, suspected of operating passenger transport from Greece without the required documentation.

Specialists from the Road Traffic Sector arrested in flagrante B. Xh., 38, resident of Korçë, for driving a vehicle without a valid license.

The Devoll Police Station referred case files to the Prosecutor’s Office and issued a search order for A. B., 50, resident of Kapshticë village, for physically assaulting his spouse, who was granted a protection order.

Pogradec / On December 6, 2025, K. O., 69, resident of Gurras village, reported that while no one was home, the door of his house was damaged and a sum of money along with several documents were stolen.

Authorities are working to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to locate and identify the perpetrator(s).

Procedural materials have been forwarded to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
