Korça Local Police Directorate
The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Korça Police Station have referred the case files to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against the following citizens:
J. Ç., 60 years old, resident of Vinçan village, suspected of starting a fire to burn waste, which, due to the spread of the flames, caused the burning of an area covered with vegetation.
M. Gj., 71 years old, resident of Goricë e Madhe village, suspected of intentionally setting fire to a vegetated area in the village of Goricë e Madhe, on 22.06.2025.
Dh. B., 49 years old, suspected of violating a protection order issued in favor of her mother-in-law by going to her residence and threatening her verbally.
Additionally, these specialists have referred the case files to the Prosecutor’s Office for assessment regarding I. R., 25 years old, who is suspected of exercising violence against her minor son.
The Road Traffic Specialists have also referred case files to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against the following citizens:
B. Q., 55 years old, resident of Vashtmi village, suspected of hitting pedestrian K. Zh., 68 years old, with the vehicle he was driving. The pedestrian is receiving medical treatment and is out of life-threatening danger.
J. B., 28 years old, resident of Çërravë, involved in a collision with another vehicle. As a result, the 28-year-old sustained minor injuries.
The Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Specialists referred the case files to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against U. L., 57 years old, and G. Xh., 69 years old, residents of Bilisht, as during a police inspection of a truck driven by U. L. and owned by the business entity of G. Xh., a larger quantity of goods (furniture accessories) was found than what was declared on the tax invoices.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Korçë, for further legal action.
