Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of the Korçë Police Commissariat arrested the following individuals on the spot:

• A.D., 48 years old, resident of Porodinë village, suspected of exerting violence against his father, who has now been granted a protection order.

• A.D., 44 years old, resident of Korçë, suspected of punching a 55-year-old man for trivial reasons; the injured party is currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital.

  
  

The Road Traffic Sector specialists have referred the case of:

• B.L., 43 years old, resident of Maliq, to the Prosecutor’s Office for criminal proceedings. B.L.’s vehicle collided with another driven by E.Ç., 64 years old, resident of Korçë, causing minor injuries to the latter.

  
  

Specialists from the Economic and Financial Crimes Unit referred the case of:

• S.T., 32 years old, resident of Korçë, to the Prosecutor’s Office after discovering several goods in his vehicle without sales invoices during a search.

The Crime Investigation Unit of the Devoll Police Commissariat referred the case of:

• D.D., 35 years old, resident of Korçë, to the Prosecutor’s Office for not complying with police orders to present vehicle documentation.

  
  

The Crime Investigation Unit of the Maliq Police Commissariat referred materials for evaluation to the Prosecutor’s Office regarding:

• A fire on 25.07.2025 in the village of Strelcë that burned around 10 hectares of pasture and forest. Preliminary investigations suggest the fire was caused by an electrical spark from a nearby high-voltage power pole.

  
  

The Crime Investigation Unit of the Kolonjë Police Commissariat referred materials for evaluation to the Prosecutor’s Office concerning:

• A natural-cause fire on 28.07.2025 in the village of Tac, which affected a land area covered with vegetation.

  
  

In Devoll:

• On 27.07.2025, a fire broke out at the location known as “Ura e Trenit,” affecting an area with fruit trees. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause.

  
  

All procedural materials have been handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Korçë District Court for further action.
