Police Statement: One person arrested, two others prosecuted

The Maliq Police Station arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen K. M., 33 years old, residing in the village of Pirg, Maliq. During a search of the establishment he managed, pages for placing sports bets were found on his cell phone. The cell phone was seized as material evidence.

Additionally, the following cases were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, initiating criminal proceedings:

1. Citizen F. G., 46 years old, residing in the village of Pojan, Maliq, was found carrying out construction work without the necessary permits from the competent authorities.

2. The Road Traffic Police Sector referred the case of citizen H. D., 69 years old, residing in the village of Baban, Devoll, to the Prosecutor's Office. While driving a "Ford" vehicle on the "Pogradec-Maliq" road, H. D. lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road, resulting in injuries to a 73-year-old passenger.

The procedural materials have been submitted to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë.
