POLICE / The 18 years old who jumped from the roof of the building was under the influence of alcohol

On 25.12.2023, around 03:50, in neighborhood no. 17, Korçë, citizen G. M., 18 years old, resident of Durrës, was found dead on the sidewalk. From the first investigations, it is suspected that this citizen, under the influence of alcohol, may have thrown himself from the terrace of a building, in which the 18 years old, together with some other friends, had taken daily rent, an apartment entrance on the eighth floor.
The dead body was transported to the morgue of the Korçë hospital, to carry out medical and legal procedures.
The Police Services have escorted all the people who were found in the premises they had rented and their interview continues for the full clarification of the circumstances and the mechanism of the serious event.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing the work for the clarification and complete legal documentation of the event.
