Caught in the act of transporting 17 Third Country nationals for profit, with the intent of illegal border crossing, a 25-year-old is arrested.
The vehicle used for transporting the immigrants and a mobile phone are seized.
The Investigation Section of DVKM Korçë, continuing efforts to combat the criminal activity of aiding foreign nationals for profit in illegal border crossing, based on information obtained through police channels, has completed the police operation codenamed "Axis," resulting in the arrest of the individual:
R. H., 25 years old, resident of Kodër-Kamëz, Tirana.
The 25-year-old was caught in the act by the aforementioned services, on the "Korçë-Pogradec" road axis, near the village of Vërdovë, Pogradec, transporting 17 Third Country nationals towards Tirana in a "Opel" van for profit, with the intent of illegal border crossing.
As material evidence, the vehicle used for transporting the immigrants and a mobile phone were seized.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction Korçë.
