Reaction from fan Refit Rezhda: "From punishment to glory: Skënderbeu begins the battle again!"

Skënderbeu is a big name, not only for us people from Korçë but also for Albanian football. More than 15 years ago, it was the team that made its mark in Europe, and for this, businessman Agim Zeqo, along with other donors including President Takaj—who continues to invest in Skënderbeu—deserve great credit. They deserve respect from every Korçë fan.

Figuratively speaking, I think many years have passed both as champions and through failures, including an unfair punishment from UEFA. That’s when Skënderbeu’s sword was broken.

However, President Takaj, who wields the sword, is determined to find a good coach and start the battle to bring Skënderbeu back to Europe, because just patching things up offers no guarantees. These remaining two years of the ban will be used to start a new battle, to defeat opponents, and to return Skënderbeu to European football.

The hope is great, and we must support the team even during these difficult days.
