RIF van collides with another car and ends up in a canal, two officers injured

A traffic accident occurred this afternoon at the location known as “Çakran Bend,” where a Rapid Intervention Forces (FNSH) van collided with a Mercedes car and subsequently ended up in a canal.
As a result of the collision, two police officers were injured and immediately transported to the hospital for medical care.
Three ambulances arrived at the scene, while police are working to determine the full circumstances of the accident.

Around 11:00 AM, at the “Çakran Crossing,” the vehicle driven by A. Y. struck the RIF Fier van, driven by police officer K. H.
As a result, A. Y. and three police officers were injured; all are currently in the hospital and are reported to be out of life-threatening danger. The investigative team is working to fully clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident.
Procedural materials have been referred to the Fier Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
