Of course, in Korçë, alongside the many talented boys in the Skënderbeu Academy, the girls also stand out. Although Skënderbeu does not have a women’s football team, many girls train with the boys.

Such is the case of 12-year-old Roelia Paramoni, who has been playing football for years and is undoubtedly extremely passionate about the game.

Born in 2014, Roelia currently trains with Skënderbeu’s U-13 team, coached by Ligoraq Tiko. She plays in all positions on the field and is currently in defense, showing great talent and dreaming of achieving something big in the future.

Training with the boys, she competes just like her peers, even though she is a girl, and she can be found on the football fields every day, determined not to stop despite her young age.

Korçë has produced many female footballers who now play for other teams, and Roelia dreams of becoming a great footballer. Passion is her strongest “weapon,” and today we share the profile of this young girl from Korçë, who may one day also play for the national team.

Well done and good luck, Roelia!
