SAD NEWS/ 70-year-old man dies, suspected to have suffered a heart attack during an evening walk in Pogradec

A 70-year-old man, who had come to spend his holidays in the city of Pogradec, lost his life this evening after he is suspected of suffering a heart attack while taking an evening walk along the promenade.

According to preliminary information, the elderly man suddenly felt unwell while he was on the promenade.

His family members immediately requested an ambulance, which arrived at the scene and transported him to Pogradec Hospital. However, the 70-year-old man did not survive and died on the way to the hospital.

The Police were also notified about the incident, carried out the necessary procedural actions, and launched an investigation to fully clarify the circumstances of the case. Preliminary suspicions suggest that the death occurred due to natural causes, as a result of a heart attack, while confirmation is awaited from the forensic medical examination.
